Switzerland is great!

Hey. I have not blogged in a while, so alot has happened.
About 2 weeks ago i graduated from school. I work at the corps full time and now im in Switzerland at the Catherine program training in Basel, well let me tell you something, this place is amazing. The old town in Basel could allmost compete with Tallinns Old City. The people are very nice.
We are staing at the Training college, witch is an amazing new building.
The system of trams and shops here is very different and interesting.
If you want to get on a tram or get off (same for the buss) you have tyo push the button on the tram or the bus. All the shops close early. around 18:30, so basically you have to get all your food and drinks before that. All the restaurants close early, besides the expensive ones in old city.
You know we have rimi in Estonia right?
Well, here in Basel we have Migros!!! If Migros has only one M then it is a grossery store, if it has two M-s (MM) than it also has clothes etc, if it is 3 M-s (MMM) then it has electronics as well.
Everything is actually quite expensive here. The weather is hot, it stays in between 27-30 degrees above celsius. So we enjoy a nice weather here while people have rain and cold weather in Estonia!
Oh, as you know that they have the European Football Cup game here in Basel, Russia lost to Spain...so...
Me and Sirje live on the 4th floor, every morning we wake up because of the loud noise made by a church bell.
The training college is quite close to a park where you can relax and also swim in a pool! Yes, thats right! A pool in a normal city park.
Basel has many ethnicities, all that you can think of. I havent met many blond girls here, for some reason they have many brunettes here...>)
They speak 2 languages here, French and German and it is because Basel is on the border of France and Germany.
The Swiss german is very different from the normal german, once you hear it, youll know the difference!

About our Cathrene program group. We have people from Germany, France, Ukraine, Russia, Finland, Estonia, Switzerland, Check Republic and Holland. It is very nice to hear different languages and seeing new cultures and habits of other countries.
Im doing good so far with meeting the people, im the youngest one here.
Well, it is getting late allmost 23:30.
Estonian group is on kitchen duty tommorow, so, have to go to bed.
I miss you all: Tim, Evelyn, Snucky, Chris, Michael, Kristi, Keit, Mom, Dad, Elizabeth, Peter (not really), Old Town, all the youth of kopli corps, i miss my mp3 player as well..
God bless you all, and see you in 2 days, please pray for Sirje, as she is going thrue a hard time with allergies against Swiss cheese she never knew before :)

Love you all alot
Kisses and hugs!
God bless
